Taiwan Opens their Runways for Private Jets
The Asian private jet market is set to soar in the coming year and yesterday Taiwan made a bold step to be the first to take off. The Taiwan cabinet passed a draft bill to allow foreign owned private jets to fly freely within its borders.
With neighbouring China still heavily regulating private jet movements, Taiwan will have a competitive edge when seeking foreign investment. Allowing the international companies to arrive and then travel internally within their own private jets will remove barriers to investment. PrivateFly expects that Taiwan will reap the benefits of this relaxation of their Civilian Aviation Act.
