What are private jet empty legs?
An empty leg is a one-way private jet offer that comes about when a private jet is repositioning. As the aircraft is flying anyway, the owner or operator will often be happy to sell this one-way flight at a big discount, often a fraction of the full price.
The current demand for last minute private flights to and from ski resorts is generating a corresponding peak in empty legs, so there are some great offers available. You have to be flexible, as empty legs are one-way and their timings can change, but if people are prepared to book last minute and travel as a group, the cost per person can be surprisingly low.
