Private flights to & from Turkey

Following the political unrest in Turkey at the weekend, private charter flights between Turkey and the rest of Europe are available. But there are some restrictions for international air travel to and from Turkey that passengers should be aware of.

To book a private charter flight to or from Turkey, contact our expert Flight Team (24 hours) for advice on +44 1747 642 777.

Private evacuation & charter flights are available between Turkey and other parts of Europe

In the UK, France, Germany and other parts of Europe, airline flights are still experiencing reduced schedules and delays, following many cancellations at the weekend. It may take several more days for schedules to return to normal.

Private charter flights are currently available at short notice to and from Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport; to and from Ankara’s airports; and other airports in Turkey. Private jets are currently operating relatively normally, but availability is more limited than usual, and passengers may experience additional security checks leaving and entering the country.

No flights between USA and Turkey until September

From the USA, there are currently no direct flights available to and from Turkey, with the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) issuing a Notice To Airmen (NOTAM) barring all flights between the two countries until 1st September 2016.

The ban applies to airlines and private aircraft, regardless of the aircraft’s country of origin.

Clients looking to travel between the two countries need to connect in another country, while the FAA notice is in force. The restriction will be reviewed no later than 15th August 2016.

Our Flight Team are available for expert advice & pricing for private charter flights to and from Turkey, from any global destination. Contact us or call (24 hours) +44 1747 642 777.
