We get up close & personal with the Legacy 600
Some of the team enjoyed a visit to London Stansted Airport earlier this week, to film at the Inflite Jet Centre FBO. And the star of our film? The stunning Embraer Legacy 600.
We were using the long range jet and the airport FBO in a video marketing project for our YouTube channel (more details to follow).
The Legacy’s spacious cabin, with space for up to 13 passengers, was the perfect location for our shoot.
We had plenty of space for the whole project team inside, including the videographer and his equipment. And were able to sit in VIP comfort and style, while we went through a number of takes. It was a beautiful sunny day and the Legacy’s many windows allowed for plenty of natural light to come in without the need for additional lighting.
When we decided to film with some private jet catering, we had turned to our friends at On Air Dining to help. They provided us with a range of stunning plates of smoked salmon and blinis; antipasti with meat and fish; olives; and sliced fruit. The Legacy 600, operated by Air Hamburg, stayed on the ground for the entire day of our shoot. But if the team had taken off, they could have flown nonstop for a distance of 3250 nm, such as across to New York, at a speed of Mach 0.78 (or 450 kts).
