Carlyle Group invests in Addison Lee
Great news today for our partner Addison Lee. Private Equity firm Carlyle Group has invested £300 million in the business and become a majority shareholder.
The investment will mean considerable business expansion opportunities for Addison Lee, both in the UK and overseas. The business has been a pioneer in its sector in terms of using technology to drive efficiency – in a highly fragmented market.
There are many parallels with our approach to the private jet charter industry. So our partnership is a strong fit. We provide private jet services to Addison Lee’s client base, including a white label version of our private jet flight search software for their website.
It’s great to see Addison Lee’s innovation and success being recognised with today’s news. I’m sure the business will go from strength to strength.
