How our safety & service standards are evolving under OneSky
It’s now been just over a year since PrivateFly was acquired by Directional Aviation, joining the OneSky family of private jet solutions as its on-demand private jet charter provider. And what a year it’s been.
Becoming part of OneSky – alongside our sister companies Sentient Jet and Flexjet – has brought a multitude of benefits to PrivateFly as a business, to our suppliers, and most importantly to our clients.
Our greater scale and buying power means we can offer exclusive products and pricing (such as our City Pairs fixed price routes); our technology is enhancing – making it even faster and easier to arrange a private charter; and we are also moving forwards under the group’s industry-leading safety and service standards.
Since we launched in 2008, PrivateFly has always taken a rigorous approach to safety. But our supply chain of aircraft operators in the US has now been refined further by OneSky’s standards, which were already established for our sister company Sentient Jet (whose jet card customers fly on selected aircraft from the charter market).
And in Europe, we are now working towards the same guiding principles in choosing our aircraft operator suppliers. These include:
– Building long term relationships with top tier aircraft operators – who go above & beyond required industry safety standards.
– Working to detailed and defined customer service levels.
– Taking a view on operators’ company culture and how they respond to issues and challenges.
Here OneSky’s Chief Safety Officer, Chuck Starkowsky and PrivateFly’s CEO Adam Twidell explain further what this means to PrivateFly’s clients and suppliers.
