Our team share their 2018 travel resolutions
The start of a new year always means one thing to us here at PrivateFly: Time to make some travel plans.
We asked our team about their travel resolutions for the year ahead – and also to reflect on their travel highlight of 2017. Here’s what some of them said.
BEN – Finance Director
Travel highlight of 2017: Flying on a new Bombardier C-Series with Swiss Airlines.
2018 travel resolution: To travel to more European cities, there’s so much I still want to see, and it’s all on the doorstep.
NICOLE – Marketing Assistant
Travel highlight of 2017: For my 24th birthday I travelled to Napa, California and did a hot air balloon tour, landing in Domain Chandon, the champagne vineyard. They let me pop one of the special bottles too – an absolutely incredible experience!
2018 travel resolution: Central & South America – it’s so close and accessible from our office in Fort Lauderdale. On the list: Bolivia, Panama, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Costa Rica! I’d like to do some hiking in Chile too, if possible.
NATASHA – Finance Assistant
Travel highlight of 2017: Standing on top of the Rockefeller Center, watching the sun set over the New York skyline!
2018 travel resolution: Island hopping in Greece.
ANNA – Flight Advisor
Travel highlight of 2017: The year was dedicated to travels to Europe with the highlight an aviation-dedicated trip to France, visiting strategic locations for the European aeronautical industry including the Airbus factory, Sabena technics, and the Cote d’Azur Airports Group. And of course, a 2017 travel highlight was experiencing private jet travel with PrivateFly!
2018 travel resolution: Accomplishing more long haul trips to places like Canada, Dubai and Singapore.
ANDY – Senior Developer
Travel highlight of 2017: British seasides – Great Yarmouth, Camber Sands & Southend.
2018 travel resolution: Visit more of the British seaside!
OLIVER – Product Manager
Travel highlight of 2017: Stansted to London City on a Legacy 500 – followed by the world’s best martini.
2018 travel resolution: Travel smart and efficiently!
ADRIEN – Flight Advisor
Travel highlight of 2017: My first vacation in 5 years was amazing, and included a flight to Tel-Aviv! I was amazed by how it looks like an American city downtown, yet 10 minutes from downtown you have the contrast of the old town.
2018 travel resolution: Travel to every continent during the year, maybe even a round-the-world trip if possible.
ZACH – Flight Advisor
Travel highlight of 2017: Making the decision to join the PrivateFly team involved relocating from South Carolina to Fort Lauderdale. The drive was a grueling 9 hours, but well worth it!
2018 travel resolution: Preferably Thailand, but if that’s not doable, I’d be happy to explore a new area of the Caribbean!
