Nearly Ready for Take-Off: Global 7500

Bombardier is hoping to receive Canadian certification of it’s much-anticipated Global 7500 this month. This will mark a milestone in the Global lineup as well as allow Bombardier to start deliveries to excited customers.

While the Global 7500 is “out of stock” until 2021 for new orders, the first deliveries should come into service by the end of this year.

Originally, the Global 7500 was named the 7000, following the pattern of the Global 6000. However, after realizing it had a longer range than expected, Bombardier renamed the model the Global 7500.

Indeed, the Global 7500 will cover 7,700 nm – able to complete a non-stop flight from New York to Hong Kong, for example.

Its cabin will be 8 ft wide, 54 ft long, and 6 ft tall, accommodating up to 19 passengers.

The Global 7500 will also feature the innovative ‘Cloud Seat,’ which offers a floating sensation with its fully-reclining seat.

If all goes well, the Global 7500 will receive certification and fulfill customer orders by the end of the year.

PrivateFly expects to see the Global 7500 enter the charter market soon as well.
