Can I fit 4 sets of golf clubs in a Citation Mustang?
No, a VLJ (Very Light Jet) such as a Citation Mustang is not the best option for multiple sets of golf clubs, or indeed other large sports equipment such as skis. We would recommend using a larger light or medium jet aircraft such as the Citation XLS, or indded a turboprop such as a King Air – both of which have a much greater luggage capacity.

As VLJs such as the Citation Mustang have only 4 seats and a small luggage compartment, they are ideal for a day trip, or short flights for 1 or 2 passengers, with small amounts of luggage. Think of it as a sports car in the sky – great performance and cost-effective, but not ideal for big families or golf trips!
A King Air turboprop aircraft is a much more spacious aircraft – with up to 8 seats and a larger luggage hold. And as turboprops come at a lower charter price than jet aircraft, it will usually the most cost-effective option for a group golf trip – if not the fastest.
The Citation XLS is another good solution for larger luggage requirements such as golf clubs. Faster than a Mustang or a King Air, largest luggage compartment of all similar jets and up to 8 seats, with a separate bathroom. The Citation XLS has enough luggage space to fit 8 sets of golf clubs.
