PrivateFly’s co-founder Carol was featured in The Times last weekend, commenting in an article about the rise of VIP airliner charter.
We’re seeing increased appetite in this segment, especially from sports teams, corporate groups and the entertainment sector. In our last quarterly insights report, Private Jet Charter Trends, we saw a 68% increase in charter spend in the large airliner category.
Private airliners with seated rows
There are many different configurations available within the private airliner category. Some offer rows of seating, equivalent to a very comfortable business or first class environment. But with a key difference: You travel as a private group, on your own bespoke schedule and routings. This avoids the commercial airport check-in and security delays – saving a lot of time and hassle on the ground.
Choosing which aircraft and configuration to go for is key here – as seat numbers can vary quite considerably. When you charter an aircraft – of any size – you pay a fixed price for the whole thing, not a cost per seat. Luxury VVIP airliners

The types of clients choosing to charter VVIP airliners with PrivateFly varies from UHNWI and families, to high-profile individuals and their entourages, sometimes flying on longer tours or multi-leg itineraries.
