Spanish Air Traffic Control Strike – Update
The unofficial walk out by Spanish air traffic controller is over.
A PrivateFly flight in Palma De Majorca has been given clearance to start engines and take off at 18:00hrs local time (17:00hrs UTC).
The following Spanish airports are also now opening with departing and arriving flights:
Barcelona
Madrid Torrejon
Madrid Barajas
Malaga
Tenerife
Ibiza
Scheduled airlines are expected to be operating later this evening with delays and cancellations continuing into Monday & Tuesday of next week.
