It was wonderful to hear how much the award meant to the airport and the community; from increased media coverage to local enthusiasm, Donegal has enjoyed the spotlight this year.

While the aerial views of Donegal are spectacular, its appeal extends even further as a growing number of tourists to the area are discovering its natural charm.

In addition to Donegal’s breath-taking landscapes and sea-views, the area has a rich culture and a host of outdoor activities.

This increasing visibility for tourism and business travelers, combined with further investment by the airport to improve infrastructure means Donegal will only continue to grow as a destination for visitors from all over the world.
